So, you want to know more about me, huh?
Well, I suppose I could indulge, if just for a moment.
Here are 20 facts I bet you didn't know about me. Anything else you need to know is listed in my about me section in my profile.
- I love my German Shepherd puppy almost as much as I love my husband.
- Pickles and Mashed potatoes(not at the same time) are some of my favorite foods.
- I've always had a dream of spending a summer in Paris.
- I hate being cooped up indoors. I would much rather be blogging on the beach, sipping a frozen raspberry margarita. :)
- I'm a video game junkie. Once I start playing, I have an extremely hard time making myself quit.
- Photography is a secret passion of mine.
- My favorite color is purple. My high school colors were purple and white. I even had a purple and white themed wedding. Lame? I think not. I had metallic purple heels with my sundress. Win all around.
- Music fuels me. Life is full of wonderful music. Just open up your ears and listen.
- One of my favorite pastimes is fishing with my grandpa. He taught me when I was very young and we've been doing it ever since.
- On that note, I also love camping. Some people consider it to be too much work, but I live for that. Manual labor makes me feel a live.
- I graduated 4th in my class. Yeah, I was a bit of an over-achiever. And perfectionist. Well, I guess WAS is a bit blasse.
- I have a passion for recycling. I try to reuse or recycle just about everything I can. No sense in polluting our beautiful earth any further.
- I'm a penny-pincher. I grew up in a family that fell on hard times more often than not, so the instinct to save is well ingrained in this one.
- Tim Burton is my favorite director. It started with watching The Nightmare Before Christmas with my dad every Halloween and just exploded from there.
- I went through a "goth" faze in middle school and high school. I have to admit, I looked pretty hot in all black.
- My favorite animal is the snow leopard.
- I love handmade gifts. They are so much more personal than something store bought.
- I bake something sweet at least once a week. Cookies, cakes, rice krispy treats....the list goes on and on.
- My middle name is Marie. I used to hate it as a child, but now I like it. Funny how we change over time.
- And last but not least..... I really want a tattoo but I can never settle on one design. I have a feeling that I will end up with multitudes of them before I'm done with this life.
